Light a Candle
Debbie passed on the evening of December 29th at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado with Sandy, Dan and James by her side. Debbie was a courageous, selfless, kind and caring person. She committed herself to making those around her cheerful and at ease and loved nothing more than to see someone else's smile and was quick to give one in return.
Debbie loved dancing and music, from doo wop to country, and believed "a day without dancing is a day wasted." She could often be found two-stepping with Sandy around the living room couch or the outdoor fire pit.
In addition to her career as a Marketing Executive, Debbie constantly volunteered to take on roles to help her family in sports, school, and anywhere else it was needed. She never sought any recognition for her work, always content with the joy of contributing.
Unfortunately, through a series of illnesses and a brave decision to continue her life on her terms, not debilitated by medical treatment, Debbie was taken too early. Debbie will be missed by all those lucky enough to know her and share time with her, especially her husband Sandy, son Dan (with his family Melissa, Sam and Cooper) and son James (with his family Anna and Mackenzie).
May she rest in peace knowing the world is a better place because she was here.
